Dessert in Desert Island

Studio Friday: Dessert Island

Studio Friday challenges us to serve dessert in desert island after selected three things from studio last week.

I serve fruits, of course, and the rest look too ambitious: tofu ice cream, pie, and chocolate on boat. After fruit -- there is another 'local made' dish -- bubur (porridge) which can be cooked using simple utensils. In Java we make flavored bubur for dessert. It is made of flour, not rice, and served with melted palm sugar.

Enjoy the dessert!

Hello!I see that you have problems with uploading.I had it also some weeks ago but now it is ok.Today I saw that Blogger is starting a BETA version with new features but I did not explore it.I can't stay much time in computer.I made appointment to eye docter but I must wait a week.I have headaches now.But I did some new collages so I came to update and check on blogs of my favourites.

I see that you have porridge for desert. We don't. But we have a desert that's very popular : sweet rice.It is made with milk, rice, sugar and cinnamon. We put a lemon peel in it to give flavour. If you don't know it, would you like to try it?I don't kno wif you like to cook.I don't!!!!!If you do I'll send you recipe. It's easy and most people likes it.I like to eat it while it is hot.But rice is poured in dish. Then we make some draws with cinnamon. It gets cold...Mmmmm!I'm feeling hungry!

The porridge sounds interesting. Very homey, like comfort-food.
